Having a self-care day? Try these 4 beauty products

Do you need a pick-me-up during these long winter months? Have a self-care day.

Fashion and lifestyle expert Natalie Sexton joined Annette Hamm on Morning Live with four beauty products to use as you pamper yourself.

L’Oréal Skin Paradise Water-Infused Tinted Moisturizer

This tinted moisturizer will help to nourish your skin and brighten your complexion.

Sexton said this formula was created for sensitive skin. It is made of a 70 per cent water-infused blend with aloe vera and witch hazel to quench the skin.

“It gives this really luminous, but lightweight coverage,” she said in an interview on Morning Live Thursday. “It’s going to give you that makeup artist-worthy glow without breaking the bank.”

Colgate Elixir Luminous White

If you’re looking to whiten your smile after drinking multiple cups of coffee or tea, Sexton said to try this new toothpaste by Colgate.

“It has micro polishing minerals that whiten teeth by removing surface stains every time you use it,” she said.

Colgate Elixir is also unique because of its dreamtube packaging technology, which allows you to get every drop of toothpaste out of the tube for less product waste.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Pro+ .5% Power Serum

Does your skin need a little self-care? Add this serum with retinol into your skincare routine.

Sexton said this anti-aging product targets the appearance of dark spots and wrinkles within two weeks.

If your skin is usually sensitive to retinol, she said to not worry because this serum contains 0.5 per cent pure retinol, a form of vitamin A, balanced with nourishing emollients to deliver retinol without irritation.

Avon Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil

One of the best self-care practices during the winter is having a warm bubble bath.

Sexton recommended using this bath oil to hydrate your skin during and after your bath.

“A lot of people don’t realize that not only can you add a capful to your bath to help moisturize your skin, but you can also use it after your shower. Just massage it onto damp skin,” she said.

This bath oil comes in three scents, including the original jojoba oil formula, shea butter and argan oil.
