Dog Guides staff received a call from a hydro employee who spotted the puppy around 8 a.m. Tuesday. They say the worker kept his distance and spoke calmly to Bronte. He then called the organization and staff members arrived within five minutes.
Dog guides contacted Bronte’s dog sitter who came to the area with her dog, Minnie. Bronte recognized the pair and walked over to be put back on her leash.
They say Bronte has been given food and water and seems to be okay. She is now being checked by their vet.
Update: Bronte has been found and is with Dog Guides’ staff now. Thank you all for your help! @CHCHNews @TheSpec @KX947 pic.twitter.com/wf28KDqUdf

Bronte is a “career change” dog who was disqualified from the dog guide programs due to temperament and/or health reasons. She is currently up for adoption.
