Harriet Tubman statue was toppled at a St. Catharines Church

The statue of the famed underground railroad liberator, Harriet Tubman was punched to the ground in St. Catharines over the weekend.
Surveillance cameras captured video of a man toppling the statue of the woman known as a hero, who helped black slaves on their journey to freedom in Canada.

Kelly Botelho shows us what happened.


  1. i was told he was talking to himself and yelling then stood up and yelled at the head and he freaked out on the head .
    Alot of crack/meth addicts go through psychosis .the accused is homeless and is a addict he has it rough mental illness makes some feel hopeless and feel no one can help.
