Officers pulled over a silver Mercedes Benz in the area of Garfield Ave. and King St. East around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

“While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, observations were made by police which lead to the arrest of the male passenger,” said Hamilton police in a news release. “A search of the male revealed he was in possession of a large number of illicit drugs and a loaded firearm.”

Officers seized a handgun, crystal meth, crack cocaine, cocaine, purple heroin, and some cash.
