Hamilton’s Fall Garden and Mum Show is going ahead this year, with free admission.
This is the 100th year of the show, which started in 1920.
It will be scaled back because of COVID-19. There will be no interactive displays or vendors but will still showcase creative floral displays created by Hamilton’s horticulture staff.
On Monday, the city’s public works committee voted to waive the $7 admission price.
City council has to ratify that next week.
The mum show will be on at the Gage Park Greenhouse from Oct. 23 – Nov. 1.
