Hamilton police seize $110K in drugs, weapons from Grimsby home

A man and woman are facing more than a dozen charges after police seized weapons, cash, and drugs from a Grimsby home.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers saw two people exit a home police say is known for trafficking meth.

The couple left in a pickup truck and drove to Lake St. and Bartlett St. in Stoney Creek where they were stopped and arrested.

A few hours later, officers executed a search warrant at the Grimsby home and seized a silver revolver airsoft gun, a knife, more than $110,000 in drugs and over $5,000 in cash. They also located stolen property which included high-end bikes, brand new power tools, a cement saw and several brand new snow blowers.

Gabe Sciarra, 39, and Kathleen McKenna, 37, are facing several charges.
