Hamilton police seeking assistance locating missing man who is non-verbal

Hamilton police are looking for a vulnerable missing man who is non-verbal.

Robert Atkinson was last seen Saturday morning at around 10:45 a.m. walking South bound in the area of Rosedale Avenue and King Street East.

Police say Atkinson lives with Down syndrome and fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and are concerned for his well-being.

Police say he is a thin, white man, 5’2″ tall and 115 pounds, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a green flyers jacket, a plaid sweater with a grey Nike shirt and grey track pants.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-800-222-8477.
