Hamilton police receive new information in Holly Ellsworth-Clark’s disappearance

First Published:

Hamilton police are investigating new information received in relation to the disappearance of Holly Ellsworth-Clark.

In a tweet posted around 10 a.m. Monday, investigators said they will be in the area of Wentworth St. and Burlington Ave. to follow up on the new leads.

Residents nearby are urged to check their security cameras for any images of the 27-year-old.

Last week, Hamilton police released footage of the last confirmed sighting of Ellsworth-Clark.

The video was captured around 4:50 p.m. on Jan. 11, the same day she went missing.

It shows Ellsworth-Clark walking northbound on Wentworth St. approaching Shaw St. while wearing black pants, black boots and a black garbage bag over her upper body.

The Calgary-native moved to Hamilton to explore the arts and music scene.

Her friends and family have been conducting regular ground searches in hopes of finding any sign of the missing woman.

They have created a website where people can submit tips about possible sightings and watch a video of her father appealing for his daughter to return home.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact police at 905-546-4925.
