Hamilton police investigating robbery at west end business

Hamilton Police BEAR Unit is investigating a robbery at a business in the city’s west end.

Police say an unknown man entered a business on Aug. 20 around 8:15 p.m.

Investigations found that the man approached the counter and demanded money while waving a blue pocket knife.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man was last seen running towards the Hamilton-Brantford Rail Trail.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.

He is described as 30 to 40-years-of-age and was wearing a grey t-shirt and light-coloured shorts. He was also holding a black backpack.
