Hamilton mayoral hopeful Brian McHattie has launched a 100-day neighbourhood tour.

McHattie announced the tour this morning at one of the city’s best known lookouts and not-coincidentally named for a former mayor, Sam Lawrence Park.

He plans to visit every one of Hamilton’s 190 neighbourhoods to get his message out. More importantly, he wants to connect with people.

“I want to understand each neighbourhood, what’s its like to live there, what it’s like to raise a family there in those neighbourhoods.”

“What it’s like to be a Hamiltonian in those neighbourhoods, to understand the issues and opportunities so I can commit to helping all those neighbourhoods realize their full potential, and through those neighbourhoods helping Hamilton reach its full potential.”

McHattie will announce more details about his platform during his tour. The municipal election is October 27th.
