Hamilton police say a man has died following a three-vehicle crash on Centennial Parkway on Wednesday.
Officers were called to a crash on the road, near King St. E, around 5:30 p.m.
Police say an SUV was travelling northbound on Centennial Parkway, approaching King St., when it rear-ended a sedan that was stopped at the light.
The impact pushed the sedan into the back of another vehicle.
According to police, the occupants in the SUV were taken to hospital with critical injuries. They say the driver, identified as Mario Tocco, 43, from Hamilton, died shortly after.
Both people in the sedan were taken to hospital with minor injuries, while the occupants in the third vehicle were not injured.
Police say their investigation continues and speed and driver impairment have not yet been ruled out as contributing factors.
