A Hamilton man is facing charges after police learned someone had injured a cat and broadcast it on social media.
Police have released few details but say an investigation was launched on Saturday after officers learned about the incident.
Investigators went to a Dundas home and arrested a 23-year-old man. He has been charged with injuring or killing an animal and breach of recognizance.
