Hamilton man, 21, charged with impaired driving

Three people have suffered minor injuries and a woman is left fighting for her life in hospital following a head-on crash in Brantford.

It happened on Park Ave. near Colborne St. around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a white car was travelling on Park Ave. when it crossed over into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a black SUV.

The male driver of the car and a female passenger were taken to hospital with minor injuries. Another woman, who was also a passenger in the vehicle, was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The woman who was driving the SUV suffered minor injuries.

A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired and dangerous driving.
