One of Canada’s brightest scientists is making major discoveries right in our own backyard.
Mick Bhatia is part of a team that’s made some big breakthroughs in understanding stem cells at McMaster University.
Where most stem cell research has focused on mice, Bhatia’s team is breaking ground in understanding human stem cells. He has a goal of one day bringing his research to patients – something Bhatia hopes could happen in Hamilton.
