Hamilton will get one new cannabis store after the results of a provincial pot lottery.
Forty-two new cannabis retailers were announced including one on Upper James on Hamilton Mountain.
The new locations were determined by a lottery draw from Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission.
Stoney Creek and Ancaster will each get their own location, and Niagara and St. Catharines will also be getting one store each.
Burlington’s cannabis market will double, with two new stores on Guelph Line and Plains Road.
