Hamilton east end assaults

First Published:

Hamilton police are trying to find a suspect in connection with a number of assaults in the east end, the most recent happening Tuesday night.

Police say the first assault happened on Wednesday, October 9th around 9pm. A 55-year old woman was walking along St. Andrews Drive, that’s near Quigley Road. A man approached her and sexually assaulted her. He then ran away. Then on the following Friday around the same time, a 32-year old woman was assaulted, this time in the Quigley Road and Greenhill Avenue area. Two other assaults occurred in that same area. One around 8:30pm the next day, the other happened Tuesday night.

The suspect is described as a young white man wearing a dark coloured hoodie sweatshirt. Hamilton police believe there were witnesses in the area who may have seen the suspect. They’re asking anyone with information to give them a call.
