On this CHCH Music Friday, we were joined by Hamilton-born Mackenzie Leigh Meyer with her newest single “Dial Tone.”

The catchy tune is a relatable song about a guy who comes across as a self-centered, uninteresting, dial tone personality type.

Meyer released her debut album Dive Bar Diva in May 2018. Since then, she has released two singles, including Before You and now Dial Tone.

The country singer has performed at Boots and Hearts, Havelock Country Jamboree and Lucknow’s Music in the Fields.

She has also landed a finalist spot in the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase and has been nominated by the Country Music Association of Ontario for “Roots Artist of the Year” in 2019.
