Hamilton baby couldn’t wait to be born

First Published:

There was some excitement on the Hamilton roads Tuesday morning when a baby just couldn’t wait to make its debut into the world!

A baby girl was born inside a Dodge Caravan around 6:30 Tuesday morning at the corner of Main Street and Wentworth Avenue in Hamilton.

The mother was on her way to hospital when she had to pull over.

Police arrived to find the woman giving birth in the back seat of the van.

Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the new mother and her baby to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Both are said to be doing well.
