A Halton police officer’s tweets are busting big high-school parties before they even get started. His humorous posts have kids talking and are keeping parents in the loop.

Constable Marc Taraso showed up at Oakville Trafalgar high school this afternoon with a big sign, reminding students to make good decisions this weekend. When he rolled up students already knew who he was from his twitter account. The reason they’ve seen them, he posts tweets like this:

“Hey Oakville Trafalger and Saint Thomas Aquinas students; we heard about that party tonight. We’ve added @haltonpolice to the guest list

Constable Taraso says every time they’ve tweeted about a party, it’s been kept under control or the parents found out.
