A tractor trailer carrying roughly $100K worth of beer has been recovered after being stolen in Oxford County.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to reports of a truck theft around 6:30 a.m. Monday.

The owner of the truck told police the GPS had tracked the vehicle in Huron East, north of Brussels.

OPP members from Perth County, along with officers from the West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Canine and Aviation Services helicopter section were called in to help with the search.

The tractor trailer and cargo were later found by police and two males were arrested at the scene.

A section of Jamestown Rd. in between Brussels Line and McDonald Line was closed temporarily to facilitate the removal of the tractor-trailer unit.

Police say more information will be released when it becomes available.
