Ontario Provincial Police says the quick-thinking actions of a Good Samaritan saved a woman’s life in Norfolk County last week.
Officers responded to reports of a woman in medical distress on Norfolk St. South around 3 p.m. on Mar. 2.
Police learned a woman had noticed a 29-year-old woman was in distress from what appeared to be an opioid overdose.
The Good Samaritan immediately administered naloxone and the woman began to breathe.
She was later transported to hospital for treatment.
