First Published:

Metrolinx is resuming weekend train service to Niagara starting Saturday.

Four trains will leave Toronto’s Union Station for Niagara each Saturday, Sunday and holiday Monday.

The Niagara-bound trains will stop at Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington, Aldershot and St. Catharines.

Tickets are $25 for adults leaving Union Station. Children travelling with an adult ride for free, says Metrolinx.

The price includes GO train fare and the WEGO hop-on, hop-off bus, which reaches Niagara Parks’ Table Rock Centre as well as hotels and other Niagara Falls attractions.

WEGO bus tickets can be bought separately for kids.

The WEGO service begins for the season on Jul 23. Until then, Niagara Region Transit buses going to Table Rock and the Niagara Falls city centre will be included in the package.

“Niagara Parks offers some of the most spectacular natural attractions in the world and we look forward to continuing our partnership with GO Transit to once again provide an efficient transportation option for Ontarians to visit us this summer,” said Niagara Parks CEO David Adames.
