Former Hamilton Police Chief Colin Millar dies at 84

Funeral arrangements have been made for a former Hamilton police chief.

Visitation will be held at the Bay Gardens Funeral home on Rymal Road in the afternoon and evening on January 9th.
A celebration will be held Tuesday at the same location, the service will begin at 11 am.

 

Former Hamilton Police Chief Colin Millar has died at the age of 84.

With a standing 37 years in law enforcement, Millar had a variety of roles and was also an instructor of criminal law at the Ontario Police College.

Millar served on many committees within Hamilton. He received the Hamilton Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award in 1994.
