Ford recalls Escape again

First Published:

Ford has issued a third recall of its 2013 Escape SUV Wednesday.

The new recall covers 7,600 vehicles, including 1,300 in Canada.

The automaker says an improperly installed part could lead to a risk of fire.

Ford says it hasn’t received any reports of fires from customers, but one on a dealer lot in Tennessee was reported.

In July, Ford issued a recall for more than 11,000 SUV’s; and earlier that month, it recalled another 10,000 due to faulty carpet padding.
