The annual Flyfest at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum kicked off today for this Father’s Day weekend.

The event started in 1975 with air shows and has continued to grow.

Flyfest gives visitors an opportunity to fly in several of the aircraft at a reduced cost.

The always impressive Lancaster is also scheduled to take flight during the event.

The Waterloo Warbirds brought in a few unique aircraft as well and there are also helicopter rides available.
