Flamborough teen, 18, killed in crash on Linc

Hamilton police say a Flamborough teenager was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway (Linc) this weekend.

Emergency crews responded to the eastbound exit ramp of the Linc at Upper James St. around 6:05 a.m. Sunday.

Police say an 18-year-old woman was driving a 2010 Acura eastbound on the Linc when her vehicle ran off the road after entering the initial curve of the ramp.

They say the woman died as a result of the crash.

A post-mortem has been scheduled for Monday.

Detectives are still investigating the collision and ask anyone with information to contact Det. Cst. Jenrick Vandercraats at 905-546-4753.
