Five Hamilton men face child pornography charges

Five Hamilton men are facing charges in a four-week project focused on online child exploitation.

Officers executed eight search warrants and 22 other judicial orders across the city in April.

In that time, police seized 62 computers and electronic devices.

Those items contained over 8,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Five men between the ages of 18 and 41 were arrested.

Police say they are not believed to be known to one another.

Steven Dickinson, 41

  • accessing child pornography
  • making child pornography available
  • possession of child pornography

Brody Greer, 25

  • possession of child pornography x 2
  • distribution of child pornography x 2

Bradley Hintzsche, 18

  • distribution of child pornography

Two other men, a 28-year-old and a 34-year-old, also face child pornography charges.

Their names are under a publication ban.

Police are reminding parents to speak to their children about internet safety and to monitor their online activity.
