Five boats destroyed in suspicious fire at Fifty Point Marina

The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called to investigate a suspicious fire at Fifty Point Marina.

Crews were called to the blaze, in Fifty Point Conservation Area, just before 4:30 a.m. Friday.

Five boats were on fire when they arrived but crews were able to bring the fire under control quickly.

The boats were being stored for the winter.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshal has taken over the investigation.

Preliminary estimates put the damage at over $185,000.
