FBI warns of more armed protests, heavy police presence expected at Biden inauguration

First Published:

The FBI is warning about potentially armed protests across the U.S.

Bureau officials say intelligence is pointing to an unnamed, armed group calling for the “storming” of government buildings and courthouses if U.S. President Donald Trump is removed before Jan. 20.

The inauguration of president-elect Joe Biden will already look different from other presidential inaugurations because of last week’s riot.

At least 10,000 National Guard troops will be in place by Saturday.
