Family owned Venetian Meats gets new retail store in Stoney Creek

First Published:

Lesley Stewart visited the new home of Venetian Meats in Stoney Creek.

Venetian Meats is a family run company that used to run out of a very historical building. It opened in 1954 making meat and delivering on bikes, then a herst, before buying the building on Burlington Street. There was such huge demand that they ran out of space so they opened their new space where they make and sell the meat, as well as sandwiches and other goodies.

Lesley learned a lot this morning, including how to make the meat from head of operations, Mark Dalbello.
