Even the most honest person would have to admit that they’ve told a tiny lie at some point. Whether to save face with somebody or to avoid hurting another person’s feelings, these “white” lies tend to slip by without any huge consequences. On the other end of the spectrum are the big lies, ones that turn into black holes, taking over your life and never letting you escape. That’s the predicament the main character of the new film Preggoland finds herself in. Lying to your friends about being pregnant is not something that is easily covered up, but it does lead to some hilarious situations.

We talked to the film’s director Jacob Tierney and writer/star Sonja Bennett about their new film and what is was like working with screen veteran James Caan.
