Environment Canada issues heat warning after scorching conditions across Southern Ontario

Environment Canada says, heat warnings remain in place across most of Southern Ontario and warn that the dangerously high temperatures can threaten the elderly and young children.

The city of Hamilton will be offering “cool places” to go during this heat event. All city of Hamilton indoor and outdoor pools will be free of charge and the Salvation Army will have a mobile unit that will be giving out water to drink.
