As concern about Ebola coming to Canada continues to swirl, many hospitals have been tweaking infection control practices and stepping up efforts to contain the virus.

But a video sent to CHCH News shows some work may still need to be done.

A video is said to have been taken Sunday morning at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

It shows a backboard used to carry injured patients left covered in blood in the ambulance bay area for days.

Hospital officials say it was left in error.

The video also shows a containment unit, like the ones that would be used for an Ebola outbreak, sitting in the same area covered in dust.

The person who sent the video says it has not moved for at least a year.

The hospital says it was used six months ago for an emergency drill.

This is the same hospital that was mentioned in The Globe and Mail on Saturday.

The globe article said that PRHC had not developed any Ebola procedures.

On Sunday officials at PRHC said that is incorrect and they will be asking for a retraction from the paper.
