Eat and stay on Augusta St at Hamilton’s newest spot

First Published:

A really cool place has opened on Augusta Street in Hamilton. The Laundry Rooms is a place to stay for one night, one week, one month or longer. The concept behind The Laundry Rooms is an alternative to hotels and other random rentals. They mix the comforts of home with the personalized service of a hotel.

They are opening a rooftop patio in the summer, where they will be lifting a food truck onto the roof, which they hope with bring life back into Augusta Street.

Their website also has a neighbourhood guide to push people out into the city they are staying and introducing people to cool and upcoming spots around the city.

Attached to The Laundry Rooms is Plank Restobar, which focuses on sharable tapas food made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

So if you are in the city looking for a place to stay or eat, Augusta Street is where you want to be.
