Driver charged in crash on Hamilton’s Barton Street

One person is facing a charge following a crash involving an e-bike in Hamilton.

An SUV and e-bike collided around 10 p.m. Wednesday, on Barton St. at Stirton Ave.

The person on the bike was taken to hospital with what police are calling moderate injuries.

Police are still investigating but say the driver of the SUV is being charged with careless driving.
