Driver charged with careless driving after collision on the Linc

Westbound traffic on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway at Dartnall Road is back to normal following a collision this morning.

A large flatbed transport truck crashed into two pickup trucks that were pulled off onto the shoulder of the Linc.  The truck struck two men standing outside a pick up and one man inside. All three of those men were taken to hospital. Two men in their 50’s were seriously injured but are expected to recover. One man in his 20’s has minor injuries.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured.  He is a man in his 30’s from Quebec.

Police have charged him with careless driving.
