Direct Air suspends service

A bargain-basement airline that’s become a favourite with Canadian travelers is stranded on the ground tonight.

Direct Air, which flies out of Niagara Falls, New York has suspended operations for at least two months. As Scot Urquhart tells us, the news surprised and shocked many Canadian travelers last night as their holiday plans were suddenly left up in the air:
