Noel Clarke’s “Hood” trilogy comes to close this year with Brotherhood. In 2006 Clarke penned Kidulthood which brought a voice to the inner city youth of London, and went on to inspire a new generation of storytellers. Despite the limited theatrical success of Kidulthood (now a cult hit) two years later  Clarke’s directorial debut and second film in the series, Adulthood defied expectations and brought a new message to theatre screens across the UK. Now, Clarke brings closure to the story of Sam Peel and the young bloods that have defined a generation.

Brotherhood has its North American premiere at TIFF last night, and will have additional screenings over the final weekend of TIFF 16.
