Dance, fitness studio in Waterdown closes after 12 years

First Published:

The Dream Centre dance and fitness studio in Waterdown announces its closure in a recent email, giving customers just over two weeks to find alternate child care.

An email sent to customers and staff says in part “It is with heavy hearts that we write to let you know that The Dream Centre will be closing all programs as of Oct. 30, except ‘before and after’ care which will run until Nov. 4.”

The email adds that tuition will be processed on the first of November but any refunds will be applied accordingly

Owner Sarah Sordoni started the studio 12 years ago and received two Outstanding Business Achievement Awards from the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce for her business.

Earlier this year, the dance and fitness studio stayed open during lockdown, protesting COVID-19 restrictions.
