Cyclist arrested for drugs and weapons

A 21-year-old Hamilton man was arrested early this morning for drugs and weapons.

He was riding his bicycle down Campbell Avenue near Rosslyn Avenue without a light, which is a violation of the Highway Traffic Act, so police pulled him over. When they did he wasn’t cooperative, so police proceeded to investigate.

They seized a spring-loaded knife, brass knuckles and brass knuckles with a knife attached, along with drugs including crystal meth.

The man will appear in court this morning to answer the charges.
