COVID-19 outbreak Anson Place Care Centre is over

The COVID-19 outbreak at Anson Place Care Centre in Hagersville is over.

All positive cases have been resolved and there are no cases among residents or staff.

27 residents have died of the virus since the outbreak began.

Safety precautions will remain in place at the home, according to a statement from the centre.

Residents will continue to eat meals in their room and they will be monitored for COVID-19 symptoms.

Staff will also be monitored for symptoms and will be tested each month.
