Ontario college students could start their school year with a strike.
Almost 7,000 support workers at Ontario’s community colleges will vote on a strike mandate Thursday.
If approved, bargainers for the unionized workers could call a strike without another vote.
Talks between the union and employers are still in the early stages.
It’s not clear if a strike would close any of the province’s 24 colleges.
