Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is providing a COVID-19 update Friday morning.

Trudeau is scheduled to speak at 11:15 a.m.

He got his second COVID-19 vaccine dose earlier in the day.

He and his wife got their first doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in late April.

Trudeau’s wife got her shot of Moderna yesterday.

Trudeau says vaccinations are a path out of the pandemic and praised Canadians in his Canada Day message for getting their shots to help life return to normal.
