WATCH: Hamilton police expected to announce arrests in Dundas murder investigation

WATCH: Hamilton police are expected to provide an update at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday about their investigation into the murder of Zachary Shuman.
Police have confirmed to CHCH News that more than one arrest has been made in connection with the murder.
Shuman, a 25-year-old single father of a 3-year-old, was shot and killed in Dundas on July 27.

The Hamilton Spectator is reporting that a 30-year-old man appeared in court briefly yesterday for second-degree murder charges in connection to the murder.
The Spectator says they have obtained court documents to confirm this information but police have yet to announce anything else.
Following the murder, investigators said that they were looking into a blue SUV that was seen speeding away from the murder. Officers believe there was a brief interaction between Shuman and the driver of the SUV in a Metro parking lot.
Shortly after the interaction, police say Shuman was shot and killed in a condo parking lot near Governors Road in Dundas.
A Go Fund Me has been created and has raised around $42,000 USD which the family says will help with raising his daughter and supporting the family.
Hamilton police say 27 shootings have happened so far this year, with 5 of those being fatal.
