Union pays locked out Max Aicher workers

For the first time since they were locked out three weeks ago, steelworkers at Max Aicher North America in Hamilton are getting some cash from their union.
The workers were locked out by the company after they turned down a contract offer that included cuts to wages and benefits. MANA started its hHmilton steel making business when it bought two former Stelco mills.
The company wants wages to be cut by as much as ten dollars an hour, along with reductions to pensions and benefits.
