U.S. President Donald Trump says he would have to be “someone stupid” to turn down such a gift from the Qatari royal family.

That’s what the President told reporters Monday while defending his decision to accept the $400-million dollar luxury jet that will be used as “Air Force One.”

The news comes as Trump departed for the Middle East Monday afternoon, starting his week-long trip to Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, and of course, Qatar.

Trump’s opponents are not happy about Trump accepting this very pricey gift, many calling it outright bribery.

Meanwhile, U.S stocks are leaping Monday after China and the United States announced a 90-day truce in their trade war.
