Three arrested following assault at Hamilton business

Hamilton police say three people have been arrested after an assault at a business left one person with serious head injuries.

Officers were dispatched to the location near 75 Centennial Parkway North around 1:11 a.m. Friday morning following reports of three people assaulting another man.

Witness described seeing the victim being kicked in the head by the assailants. A passerby said it looked like the man has been “jumped.”

When police arrived they discovered a man inside the vestibule of a business, lying on the ground and suffering from significant head injuries. He was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries. Police say he is now in stable condition.

Shortly after officers left the scene, they were able to locate all three suspects near a Shoppers Drug Mart in the same plaza. All were arrested and charged with assault with a weapon causing bodily harm.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the altercation, or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage from the area around 1:00 a.m. on October 31, 2025, to contact the on-duty Division 20 Staff Sergeant at 905-546-2963.
