Stolen vehicle recovered in Oakville leads to five arrests

Halton police have arrested two men and three teens in connection with a stolen vehicle recovered in Oakville.

On May 2 at 2:30 a.m., officers observed a stolen Honda Civic travelling in the area of Ninth Line and Dundas Street East.

Authorities attempted to stop the vehicle before the driver refused and fled the area.

The area was searched and the Civic was located on Presquile Drive after colliding with a curb.

The occupants of the vehicle fled on foot and attempted to escape through nearby backyards, but were quickly detained by officers.

As a result of the investigation, the vehicle was determined to be stolen out of Toronto.

The following have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime – over $5,000:

  • Justin Goulbourne, 19, of North York
  • Laamaani Hall, 19, of Etobicoke
  • 16-year-old male resident of Montreal
  • 15-year-old male resident of North York
  • 14-year-old male resident of Toronto

All were held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
