St. Catharines man, 24, faces child porn charges

A 24-year-old man is facing several child pornography charges following a police investigation into the sexual exploitation of children in Niagara.

Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation unit launched the investigation back in March.

On Thursday, officers executed a search warrant at a home in St. Catharines.

Joshua Chambers, of St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with possessing, accessing, and distributing child pornography.

Police are urging members of the public to report any suspicious activities relating to child exploitation to the Niagara Regional Police Service.
