Six Nations police have charged a man from Ancaster with several firearm related offences after a weapon was discharged at a warehouse on Seneca Road Monday.

Officers say the man had gotten into a verbal altercation with another person, when they had allegedly discharged a firearm.

Minor injuries were reported as a result of a projectile, but police have not said who was injured.

Detectives arrested 34-year-old Andrew Hadaddin and charged him with offences including pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, and two counts of uttering threats of death or bodily harm.

Police say there is no risk to public safety, and believe this to be an isolated incident.

Hadaddin will be held in custody pending a bail hearing at a courthouse at an undisclosed time.
